LED Light Vest’s white lights are now brighter than ever.
LED Light Vest is excited to announce that the front lights on our Athlete Vests are now 35 percent brighter. Prior to making this upgrade, and with our customers in mind, we had an independent headlamp testing company compare our new light output directly to the automotive head lamp requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Specification 108, (FMVSS-108). The results proved that although it is brighter, our light output is still below that of the federal requirements for automobiles and still maintains a unique light output footprint.
Here are some other things we learned from the testing. Our LED Light vest front white lights generate 140 Lumens of light. Equally important is the beam pattern. As you can see from the following plot, the data proves what we have been advertising all along, that the LED light vest illuminates your path to keep you from stepping on or in anything when running in the dark.
