Dog vest

A lot of people have asked why the dog vest model on the LED Light Vest website is not a real dog. Here is a quick history of the dog vest.  I had a dog named Lucy and had designed a lighted vest for her.  Lucy was my full time running partner. If I was running, Lucy was right there with me. We even ran three marathon training runs together. I received a number of positive comments on the lighted dog vest and proceeded to develop it to sell. Unfortunately, I quickly found that dogs are just too unpredictable as a user of this product, i.e., rolling in puddles and other disgusting things. Basically destroying the lights very quickly. Therefore, I made the decision to eliminate the lights and change the material to look like a Class 2 vest.  I created dog vest patterns and set about having three sizes made. Unfortunately, Lucy died before the project was finished.  I was devastated and wanted to scrap the dog vest all together.  My wife found the dog model and encouraged me to continue with the dog vest project in memory of my running buddy Lucy.
